DEVIL’S LAKE
It goes without saying that Devil’s Lake State Park is one of the area’s most well-known destinations. From camping and swimming to ice fishing and snowshoeing, Devil’s Lake offers something for everyone. While it is located in the Town of Baraboo, it is managed by the State of Wisconsin and a Vehicle Admission Sticker is required for entry.

GIESE PARK
Located at the intersection of Hatchery Road and Rock Hill Road, this quiet park offers a picnic table, grill, boat launch, and primitive outhouse. Park hours are 6am – 10pm. No overnight camping.

GREAT SAUK STATE TRAIL
With portions of the Great Sauk Trail already complete in our neighboring communities of Prairie du Sac and Sauk City, the Town of Baraboo is excited to be involved in planning the Baraboo segment of this multi-purpose trail. Future routes through Baraboo have not been finalized, so please stay tuned!
